Joshua Abraham Norton was an immigrant, tycoon, vagrant, and eventually monarch. This film explores his legend.
We’ve partnered with a local legend in his own right, Broke Ass Stuart. Through him we can explore the legacy of Emperor Norton, in modern day San Francisco. We are currently raising funds to finish shooting the film. To learn more visit our website here.
This has been a passion project of mine for years now. After a bit of a hiatus, I’ve recently partnered with a writer and producer, so I can concentrate on shooting and editing. I’ve learned an immense amount through this project, both about San Francisco and filmmaking. Understanding the fundraising and production process for larger projects, has been key to working with big teams and productions.
